Clementine has owned a version of this dress in every house she has ever loved. The cami straps sit thin on the shoulder, the textured cotton tiers fall one into the next, and a little ruching keeps the waist honest. It is the dress she pulls on damp-haired after the beach and wears straight through to the candles, and it never once looks like it was trying.
